Multi Downloader is a Chrome extension that helps you download media from Patreon, Pixiv, Fanbox, X (Twitter), Poipiku, Postype, Novelpia, and Reddit using your existing browser login. This policy describes what data the extension handles.
We (the extension developers) do not collect, store, or receive any personal data on our servers. The extension has no backend and no analytics.
The extension stores the following locally in Chrome:
chrome.storage.local and optionally mirrored to chrome.storage.sync if you use Chrome sync.chrome.storage.session until you close the browser.You may export or import settings as a JSON file from the General tab (Settings backup). New exports use formatVersion: 4 (kind: "settings") and include per-platform file naming rules in a top-level naming section. Import accepts v4 (settings + naming), v3 settings-only files, and legacy v2 naming-only files (kind: "naming"). You can choose merge or replace mode and which platform sections to apply. You may also export or import download history (completed download records; merge, replace, or clear all) from the same tab. Those files remain on your device. Nothing is uploaded to the developer.
When you start a download, the extension sends requests only to the sites you are viewing or have configured it for:
patreon.com, and Mux mux.com CDNs used for streamed post video)pixiv.net, pximg.net, and related CDNs)fanbox.cc, downloads.fanbox.cc, fanbox.cdn.pixiv.net)x.com, twitter.com, pbs.twimg.com, video.twimg.com)poipiku.com)postype.com, api.postype.com, and platform-provided CloudFront CDN URLs)novelpia.com)reddit.com, redd.it)These requests use your existing cookies and session on those sites, the same as when you browse normally. The extension does not send your data to the developer.
Chrome permissions are used only for the purposes below, matching the extension manifest: downloads (saving files you request), storage and unlimitedStorage (settings, job state, and resume checkpoints), tabs (per-tab progress badge and notification routing), notifications (job completion alerts), power (optional keep-screen-on while downloading), and declarative network rules that add Referer/CORS headers only for Pixiv CDN (*.pximg.net) image requests. The extension requests host access only to the sites listed above.
This extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Patreon, Pixiv, Fanbox, X Corp., Poipiku, Postype, Novelpia, or Reddit. It only saves files that are already visible to your logged-in account. You are solely responsible for complying with each site's Terms of Service, copyright, and creator permissions. Do not redistribute, resell, or publish downloaded content without permission. The extension is provided as-is, without warranty, and the developer is not liable for misuse, account actions, or any damages arising from its use.
The extension is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy when the extension changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
